22 July 2022 the Coordinators of the Disciplines of the National Science Centre (NSC) presented the ranking lists of activities qualified for funding under the MINIATURA 6 competition for individual scientific activities announced by the NSC on February 1, 2022.
AstroCeNT/NCAC PhD candidate Wathela Alhassan (supervisor – Prof. Tomasz Bulik) got a grant from the International Astronomical Union for doing outreach project in one of the refugee’s camps in Sudan. The grant aim is to promote astronomy in Africa for social good.
