On August 21-25, the DEAP-3600 collaboration meeting organized by Canadian Nuclear Laboratories and the DEAP-3600 collaboration took place in Chalk River, Canada. The meeting is held twice a year and provides an opportunity to present results, plan and coordinate further cooperation, especially in the context of publications currently being prepared.
DarkWave consortium members: Prof. Marcin Kuźniak, who represents NCAC on the DEAP-3600 Scientific Board, as well as Dr M. Lai (INFN), Dr M. Walczak (NCAC), and PhD student T. Hugues (NCAC), who presented their work on boosted dark matter search analysis, attended the meeting.
The DEAP Collaboration is a group of over 65 researchers from 18 institutions which developed the DEAP-3600 detector – one of the most sensitive experiments for the direct detection of dark matter.
