Lepton Photon 2023

From July 17th to July 21st, Dr. Masato Kimura, a member of research group 4, led by Dr. Masayuki Wada, participated in the 31st International Symposium on Lepton Photon Interactions at High Energies (LeptonPhoton2023), held at Monash University in Melbourne. The symposium encompassed a wide array of topics crucial to the particle physics community, ranging from the latest experimental results to future facility research, theoretical advancements, and discussions on inclusion, diversity, and public engagement.
Dr. Kimura’s presence was particularly significant, as he presented new research on the search for dark matter annual modulation in DarkSide-50, sharing his insights with peers and fostering meaningful scientific collaborations. After his engaging presentation, titled “Search for Dark Matter Induced Event Rate Modulation in DarkSide-50 Ionization Signal”, Dr. Kimura had fruitful discussions with fellow participants.
The successful attendance of Dr. Kimura at the symposium was made possible by the DarkWave support. One of the project’s main goals is to support the dissemination of scientific results and facilitate the exchange of knowledge among scientists.
