Kashiwa Dark Matter Symposium 2022

From November 29th to December 2nd, Dr. Masato Kimura (Ultrapure SiPMs and Related Readout Electronics group) paid a short scientific visit to Tokyo. The travel was made to participate in the “Kashiwa Dark Matter Symposium 2022″ organized by ICRR, University of Tokyo.
The conference is held annually to discuss all relevant experimental and theoretical areas of current and future searches for dark matter. This was the first face-to-face meeting since 2019 with remote participants. Dr. Kimura made a presentation titled “The State and Prospects of the DarkSide Program”, in which he presented the results of the DarkSide-50 experiment, as well as the state and prospects of future experiments – DarkSide-20k and DarkSide-LowMass.
Participation in international conferences is an extremely important part of the scientific activity. Thanks to the funding of the DarkWave project, we can implement scientific trips around the globe, enabling AstroCeNT team members to talk about their achievements at the global level and exchange experiences with foreign colleagues.
