Dr Ensing presented his research at a poster session at the Sos Ennatos mine

The meeting on Einstein Telescope site studies and characterization took place in Nuoro, Sardinia. In October 2021, Dr Ensing, member of research group 2, worked at the Sos Ennatos site on studying the seismic noise and its dependence on the wind in the area. At a poster session at the Sos Ennatos mine, he presented the results of his research.
The Einstein Telescope is a future observatory for gravitational waves. Two candidate sites are currently under study: one in Sardinia and one in the Maastricht region of the Netherlands. AstroCeNT is involved in site surveys and in particular in the seismic and infrasonic measurement campaign.
