On November 15-19, AstroCeNT hosted Martin Beseda, doctoral student from Technical University of Ostrava.
Martin came to AstroCeNT to learn about our scientific activities in the area of Quantum Computing and to work with Scientific Computing & Information Technology group led by Prof. Piotr Gawron.
“I’ve known prof. Piotr Gawron from our previous brief collaboration on the preparation of one project proposal and I was really looking forward to see, what he’s working on and to hopefully find some overlaps with my own research focus, which could support a future collaboration. I’m really glad I found a welcoming colleague here and that I got the opportunity to collaborate on image classification utilizing Quantum Computing techniques, which I will, hopefully, be involved with even in my future”.
