On the June 10-14 the DarkSide-20k collaboration summer meeting took place at the National Laboratory of Gran Sasso (LNGS) in Assergi, Italy.
The DarkSide collaboration is an international affiliation of universities and labs seeking to directly detect dark matter in the form of weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs). The collaboration is planning, building and operating a series of liquid argon time projection chambers (TPCs) that are employed at th GSSI. Astrocent has a strong presence in this collaboration, working alongside scientists from around the world to create a new dark matter detector that will help unlock the greatest mysteries of the hidden universe.
At this meeting, our members presented several reports on the progress made in their working groups under the OPUS and SONATA projects funded by National Science Centre.
