From January 30 to February 1, the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Centre (NCAC) held its yearly meeting at Bartycka 18. This time, the NCAC team gathered under the motto: “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
The meeting kicked off with Director Rafał Moderski presenting last year’s main achievements. After this, the leaders of projects currently being implemented at NCAC shared their results. AstroCeNT team members’ presentations were scheduled for the second day. The third day was dedicated to a Scientific Council.
These yearly NCAC gatherings are a great way to learn about all the projects the institute is involved in and a chance to understand the scope of their work, tackle emerging issues, and plan for the future, which is crucial for the scientific community.
