Professor Piotr Gawron, leader of group 5, recently attended the Big Data from Space 2023 (BiDS) conference organized by the European Space Agency (ESA). At the conference, a collaborative work titled “Quantum Contrastive Learning for Semantic Segmentation of Remote Sensing Images,” authored by Véronique Defonte, Matthijs van Waveren, Guillaume Pasero, Mickaël Savinaud, Piotr Gawron, Pierre-Marie Brunet, and Orphée Faucoz, was presented. The event took place from November 6 to 9, 2023, at the Austrian Center in Vienna, under the auspices of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre.
