On the 21-26 of August Wathela Alhassan, AstroCeNT PhD student (supervisor – Prof. Tomasz Bulik) took part in Deep Learning Indaba 2022, the annual meeting of the African machine learning community held in Tunis.
In 2022, Indaba intended to meet 350 members of the African AI community for a week-long learning, research, exchange and debate event on the state of the art in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Wathela Alhassan took an active part in the poster session presenting his poster entitled “Detection of Einstein Telescope gravitational wave signals from binary black holes using deep learning”.
