The most downloaded PRD papers of 2023

We are pleased to announce that, according to American Physical Society, the paper to which Dr. Masayuki Wada (AstroCeNT/NCAC), Dr. Masato Kimura (AstroCeNT/NCAC), and Dr. Davide Franco (APC/CNRS) contributed, has been recognized as one of the most downloaded Physical Review D papers of 2023.
Titled “Search for low-mass dark matter WIMPs with 12 ton-day exposure of DarkSide-50” this article gives a report on the search for a dark matter candidate, weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) in the mass range below 10 GeV/c2, from the analysis of the entire dataset acquired with a low-radioactivity argon target by the DarkSide-50 experiment at Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso. The analysis resulted in the worlds’ most stringent exclusion for dark matter in this mass range.
This paper, part of the collaborative effort of the DarkSide-50k Collaboration, showcases the fruitful scientific cooperation between Astrocent/NCAC and APC/CNRS.
