Summer School on Space Research, Technology and Applications

On the 3-10th of July AstroCeNT/NCAC PhD candidate Wathela Alhassan (Sensor Seismic group led by Prof. Tomasz Bulik) participated in Second Summer School on Space Research, Technology and Applications at the National Astronomical Observatory – Rozhen, Bulgaria.
The topics covered during the event were incredibly wide: from theoretical astrophysics to engineering and computing. Within 7 days, the participants had the opportunity to attend lectures and training sessions. At the end of the school, each team presented the results of their practice under the guidance of an experienced mentor. In addition, each participant presented a brief overview of their doctoral dissertation topic during a special PhD session.
