Dr Andrew Cheek, a member of group 6, attended the international workshop NEHOP (New Horizons in Primordial Black Hole physics) in Naples which which took place from 19 to 21 June.
This three-day event aims to nurture discussions and bring together experts on the broad topic of Primordial Black Holes (PBHs). From their phenomenological implications, their possible relationship to extant problems in the SM (dark matter, neutrino masses, baryon asymmetry, inflation), their theoretical underpinnings and origin, to the multi-messenger signals that are motivating state-of-the-art experimental developments.
Dr Cheek gave a talk entitled “Primordial Black Hole Evaporation: implications for dark matter and dark radiation” and was part of the scientific committee for organising the workshop.
Participation in this event was covered from DarkWave project.
