From 8-12 July, our PhD student Iftikhar Amad (group 4 led by dr. Masayuki Wada) participated in the 15th International Workshop on the Identification of Dark Matter (IDM 2024). The event was held in L’Aquila, Italy, and organized by the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI), the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso (LNGS INFN), and the University of L’Aquila. The conference aimed to present a comprehensive overview of the current status of dark matter research, encompassing both theoretical and experimental perspectives.
Iftikhar Amad delivered an oral presentation titled “Characterization of DarkSide-20k Large Area SiPM Tiles.” His participation was funded by the National Science Centre (SONATA-BIS grant).
