DEAP-3600 Collaboration Meeting in Sudbury, Canada (13-16 August)

From 13 to 16 August, the DEAP-3600 collaboration meeting took place at SNOLAB in Sudbury, Canada. The DEAP-3600 collaboration is focused on the direct detection of dark matter using liquid argon, with the DEAP-3600 experiment being one of the significant projects in this field.

Members of Astrocent are actively involved in this collaboration. During the meeting, Sarthak Choudhary (group 1, led by Prof. Kuzniak) presented joint work on Pulse Shape Discrimination in DEAP-3600, conducted in collaboration with Prof. Gawron’s group 5. Additionally, Yuliya Hoika delivered a talk on science communication and outreach activities.
