On the 23-27th of October our colleague Dr Marek Walczak from research group 1 attended DarkSide Collaboration meeting that took place in L’Aquila, Italy. The DarkSide-20k experiment, searching of dark matter with liquid argon, is currently under construction at Gran Sasso National Laboratory (LNGS). Meetings in-person provide a great opportunity for the Collaboration to discuss the status of the project and plan future developments.
Dr Walczak gave a presentation “vPDU tests in AstroCeNT” showing first results of the successful test of vPDU2.
