Dark Cosmos Seminar – Searching for Light Dark Matter with the DarkSide Program
From November 14 to 16, Dr. Masato Kimura, member of group 4, undertook a significant visit to Princeton University with dual objectives.
Primarily, the purpose of the trip was to deliver a seminar at Princeton University, illuminating the recent findings stemming from the DarkSide experiment. Dr. Kimura engaged in insightful discussions with colleagues, aiming to elevate the quality of research conducted at AstroCeNT.
Additionally, Dr. Kimura took the opportunity to visit our research collaborators at Princeton University, focusing particularly on their laboratory where small liquid argon detectors are operated through an advanced cryogenic system. This hands-on experience holds significant weight for AstroCeNT, given our ongoing efforts to design and construct a similar experimental setup in Warsaw.
