Water Cherenkov Experiment meeting at CERN

One of the important projects in which CAMK/AstroСeNT is involved is the development of photo sensors and electronics for the Water Cherenkov Test Experiment (WCTE).
On July 19-22, 2022, AstroCeNT team member Dr M. Ziembicki (Research Group 3) attended the WCTE meeting held at CERN. WCTE is a 50-ton scale test experiment that will be located in an East Area test beam line in CERN. It aims at testing new detector technologies, novel calibration techniques to understand detector response, and models of physics processes within the detector, in the context of new experiments utilizing water-based detectors, for example Hyper-Kamiokande, ESSnuSB or THEIA.
