On 1 March 2021 Dr Eng. Barbara Wajnchold joined the AstroCeNT taking the newly created position of the Director for Scientific Affairs. Barbara is an experienced professional who profits from the experience of a scientist to be a high-level manager.
Her research interests include mainly physics, in particular optics as well as photonics-based space engineering and space exploration.
Barbara is going to implement at AstroCeNT her project management experience gained while working in several organizations, including most recently the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) and, this way, to bring the Centre to the next stage of our journey!
