At the beginning of November 2022, Dr Masato Kimura (research group 4 led by Dr Masayuki Wada) visited Fermilab in Illinois, USA.
The trip had two goals. The first was to give a presentation on the latest findings from the DarkSide-50 search for dark matter, as well as future prospects for DarkSide projects, at the Fermilab Research Technique Seminar. In addition, Masato had to work on the software used in the DarkSide-50 experiment with experts from Fermilab. The development and debugging of the program is necessary to advance the analysis that scientists are doing for the DarkSide experiments.
The outcomes from these travel will be converted to the progress of current papers and cooperation with AstroCeNT collaborators.
