An important milestone – the first defense of a doctoral thesis at AstroCeNT!
On March 22, Theo Hugues, a joint (cotutelle) student of AstroCeNT/NCAC and Laboratoire AstroParticule & Cosmologie / Université Paris Cité, successfully defended his doctoral thesis “Search for Dark Matter with Liquid Argon Detectors” under the supervision of prof. Kuźniak and Dr. Franco.
The new title is a huge achievement for Theo, his supervisors and the entire AstroCeNT team! As Theo begins the next phase of his research career, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a successful postdoctoral fellowship at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada.
