On June 19, AstroCeNT had the honor of hosting a delegation from Germany in Warsaw. The delegation included scientists Prof. Günter Hasinger (director of Science at ESA and director of German Center for Astrophysics (DZA)), Prof. Christian Stegmann ( Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY)) and Stefan Ohm (the head of the scientific communications department of the DZA).
During the visit, a colloquium took place at the Warsaw University of Technology, where our guests presented their work to the assembled scientists and engineers from AtroCeNT, Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center and Warsaw University of Technology. The event provided visitors with the opportunity to learn about current and planned research and development. Discussions with local experts and laboratory tours identified potential collaborations in areas ranging from electronics development to materials science.
We are glad that this meeting in Warsaw was so fruitful and we look forward to the further development and strengthening of our partnership
