Biography:

Yuliya Hoika graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Belarusian State University in 2010 and the Centre for Europe of the University of Warsaw in 2017.

Her professional career in Minsk (Belarus) and St. Petersburg (Russia) was associated with publishing houses and advertising agencies. She worked as an editor and journalist and later entered the branding and copywriting industry.

After graduating from the University of Warsaw, Yuliya began her work in European projects. As a member of the Startup Hub Poland Foundation team, which implements acceleration programs for startups, Yuliya worked in the Poland Prize program (organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) and addressed to startups from abroad) and Akademicka Liga Startapów (addressed to micro and of medium-sized enterprises operating in Mazovia that develop innovative products or services). In the foundation, Yuliya was an administrative officer and assistant coordinator. In the ALS project, she worked as a mentor – content and copywriting specialist (helping startups in creating verbal and visual identity and consulting on SMM issues).

Yuliya started working at Astrocent/NCAC in July 2020. She currently holds the position of Project Coordination Specialist. From December 2021 to September 2023 she was the administrative coordinator of the DarkWave project (Horizon 2020). She is also responsible for the official AstroCeNT page and  social media.

In July 2023 Yuliya also took a position of Communication Officer at the Einstein Telescope – gravitational waves 3d generation observatory (under construction).
