Photoacoustic, Measurement of Gas Properties, Digital Signal Processing, Seismic Sensors
Dr Suchenek is a researcher in Astrocent. He is also an assistant professor at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree in electronics from Warsaw University of Technology in 2004 and a master’s degree in 2006. Mr Suchenek participated in numerous projects related to electronic circuit design and testing. His recent project aimed at characterizing candidate sites for the construction of the Einstein Telescope. Within this project, he designed a low-power measurement system capable of long-term operation at distant and hardly-accessible locations. The project included hardware design, software for both hardware and postprocessing systems. The postprocessing systems consist of data analysis and the development of signal processing algorithms to eliminate interference from a transmission.
Mr Suchenek’s primary research interests lie in the development and construction of electronics systems and devices. In his projects, he uses simple systems with microcontrollers based on the ARM architecture, FPGA circuits, as well as heterogeneous computer systems. Mariusz Suchenek is also a member of the Polish Consortium of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA). He is also interested in some aspects of photoacoustic signal detection measurement of gas parameters using ultrasounds. Both topics are related to the measurement of gas parameters using new technical solutions, mainly in the field of electronics and digital signal processing.
Mariusz Suchenek is also a member of the Polish Consortium of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA).
