Dr. Marek Lewicki

Research

Fields of interest:

Dr. Marek Lewicki is a theoretical physicist specializing in early
Universe cosmology and astroparticle physics.

Biography:

Dr. Lewicki earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Warsaw in 2016. He subsequently held research positions at the University of Adelaide and King’s College London before returning to the University of Warsaw in 2020 as a laureate of the Polish Returns Programme. In 2025, he joined the Particle Astrophysics Theory Group at Astrocent, where he continues to investigate the physics of the early Universe and its observational signatures in gravitational wave phenomena.

In 2024, Dr. Lewicki was elected as one of four chairs leading the Cosmology Working Group within the LISA Consortium – an international satellite mission dedicated to the detection of gravitational waves, scheduled for launch in the coming decade.
