Biography

Robert Szymko is a technician at AstroCeNT.
He obtained his Bechelor’s degree in physics at Inter-faculty Individual Studies in Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Warsaw with colaboration of the Institute of Electronic Materials Technology (ITME). At ITME he worked on increasing efficiency of photovoltaic cells using antireflecting coating such as aluminium oxide or graphene.

In 2020 he started working for AstroCeNT where he defended his master thesis in physics. The thesis was prepared at AstroCeNT under the supervision of prof. T. Bulik and dr M. Denys. His work focused on analysis of seismic noise in the virgo detector.

Currently he is working on mobile seismic sensor and infrasound microphones.
