Dr Nikesh


Fields of interest:

Numerical Analysis, Finite Element Methods, Spectral Element Methods, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Modal and Non-Modal Stability Analysis


Dr Nikesh completed his Post Graduate degree from NIT Warangal in thermal Engineering specialization. He obtained his Ph.D. with distinction in Computational Mechanics from the Warsaw University of Technology. The title of his Ph.D. thesis was “Hydrodynamic instability and mixing enhancement in the grooved channels”.

In October 2017, Dr Nikesh was employed as an Assistant Professor in the Aerodynamic Department at the Institute of Aeronautics and Applied Mechanics of Warsaw University of Technology. He was awarded the PRELUDIUM scientific grant from the National Science Center of Poland in the year 2018.

Before his doctoral studies, he worked in the Research and development department of GE Transportation (Bangalore, India), Jai Bharat Maruti (Gurgaon, India), and National Thermal Power Cooperation (Delhi, India).

In February 2022 Dr Nikesh joined research group 2 led by Prof. Bulik as a postdoctoral researcher.
